VNS Foundation

The people at VNS are committed to providing quality home health care. The VNS Foundation is the entity that allows them follow through on that commitment.

Purpose

The purpose of the VNS Foundation, Inc. is to support the community initiatives of the Visiting Nurse Service. The foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization as recognized by the IRS (as is the Visiting Nurse Service, Inc. and At Your Service Homecare, Inc.) and gifts given to the foundation are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Over the past several years, VNS has invested over $5 Million in "free & subsidized care" to individuals needing home care and other services so that they could stay independent in the residence of their choosing. This would not have been possible without the charitable contributions of hundreds of individuals, corporations and foundations.
