Private Clinics
You Never Know Who's the FLU BUG in the Office!
It's Time To Schedule Your
Company Flu and Pneumonia Shot Clinic!
VNS offers our corporate and community friends the chance to set up private flu and pneumonia shot clinics in October, November and December. We will come to your business, church, organization and meeting site and offer shots to your employees and attendees in the privacy of your establishment.
Flu and pneumonia are the number one reasons people take time off of work throughout the fall and winter months. For more information on the benefits of vaccining your organization, go to What Companies Need to Know.
Private Clinic Fees and Billing Arrangements
The cost of the flu shot is $25 per person and the cost of the pneumonia shot is $40. Individuals who have Medicare Part B as their primary insurance may present their card at a clinic site and receive both the flu and pneumonia shot at no charge. VNS will submit all Medicare Part B claims to Medicare. If other insurance or HMO's are the primary carrier and Medicare is secondary, then payment will be expected at the time of service. VNS accepts cash or check only.
For private clinics, there is no administration fee if 20 or more vaccinations are given. If under 20 vaccinations are administered, there is an administration charge of $40. If any date change or cancellation is made within two weeks of scheduled clinics there will be a $25 fee. Vouchers are available for company employees who are unable to attend the on-site clinic. These vouchers can be redeemed at any of the VNS Bugbuster public clinics.
We can handle billing arrangements as follows:
- If the employer wishes to pay for their employees shot(s), we will bill you for the number of shots given and the administration fee if (applicable); or
- If the employer wishes to pay for 1/2 the cost of their employees shot(s), we can collect the employee's portion of the cost and bill your company the remaining amount and the administration fee (if applicable), or
- If the employer wishes to host the clinic and open it up to retired employees and/or the general public as a special promotion, we will bill you for the administration fee if under 20 vaccinations are given. VNS will collect the money from each individual participant for their shot. Individuals may pay by cash or check.
